Our Approach: Concussion Care Requires Specific Expertise
We strictly follow evidence-based guidelines and an interdisciplinary approach. From baseline testing to assessment to Return-to-Play, we evaluate and treat patients on an individual basis.
At ACC, we customize care for each patient, and our concussion evaluation covers oculomotor, vestibular, cervical spine, autonomic, and psychological assessments.
We Are a Clinical Teaching Facility
ACC plays a vital role in educating and advancing knowledge in the field of concussion by nurturing the skills of sports medicine physicians, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and occupational therapy students.

We are ImPACT Credentialed
ImPACT - a computerized test - is an objective tool to support trained healthcare providers in making sound return to activity decisions following concussions, and measures memory, attention span, visual and verbal problem solving
- Dr. Cirelle Rosenblatt, R.Psych. is BC’s only Certified ImPACT Clinician
- Dr. Rosenblatt views ImPACT data comparatively with pre-injury baseline testing, evaluates pre- and post-injury test performances, and coordinates safe and timely Return to Sport and school.

Dr. Cirelle Rosenblatt
Founder & Clinical Director, R. Psych, PhD
Dr. Cirelle Rosenblatt is British Columbia’s leading concussion expert. She’s been working in the field of neuropsychology for more than 25 years, and holds a PhD in Health Psychology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Cirelle is passionate about medical AI, and she’s the province’s only Credentialed ImPACT consultant.
Her concussion rehabilitation expertise is in high demand. Cirelle has practiced at Mount Sinai’s Traumatic Brain Injury Unit, the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine, and NYU’s Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine, During these roles, her work has spanned inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, as well as neuropsychology services. You’ll see lots of her at ACC.
